Dear clients,
Deposits and withdrawals in ETH and Tether (ERC-20) to/from the trading accounts at LiteFinance will be suspended on 15.09.2022 at 3 am (LiteFinance trading server time) as Ethereum is moving off of Proof-of-Work to Proof-of-Stake.
This measure aims to protect our clients' funds because a new token may be created in a hard fork.
Please make all necessary deposits before 15.09.2022, 3 am. If you need to withdraw funds in ETH or Tether (ERC-20), please make a request no later than 23:59:59 on 14.09.2022 so that our financial service can process it before the suspension.
Trading ETH pairs will not be suspended, but margin requirements may increase. If the liquidity provider makes any changes, we will inform you later.
When will deposits and withdrawals in ETH and Tether (ERC-20) resume?
There can be two scenarios here:
If no new tokens are created in the hard fork, LiteFinance will resume deposits and withdrawals in ETH and Tether (ERC-20) in the shortest time.
If the blockchain is split, LiteFinance will continue to work with the Ethereum network using the PoS system. Thus, you will be able to deposit and withdraw money in ETH and Tether (ERC-20) once we have set the new technical parameters required to switch to the new protocol. The second scenario will take more time for us to resume deposits and withdrawals in ETH and Tether (ERC-20).
We will inform you as soon as these payment methods become available again.
