Producer price index. China, 03:30 (GMT+2)

At 03:30 (GMT+2) in China, November data on the producer price index will be published. It is one of the main indicators of inflation in the country and consolidates the change in prices for goods and services sold by producers. It also shows the change in the cost of their production. The value is expected to correct from –1.3% to –1.4% YoY.

It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services (food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on). It significantly influences the decisions of the national financial regulator on monetary policy. The indicator is expected to decrease from 2.1% to 1.6% YoY and from 0.1% to –0.2% MoM.
