Consumer price index. Germany, 15:00 (GMT+2)

At 15:00 (GMT+2) in Germany, the January data on the consumer price index will be released. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on, having a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. The consumer price index is expected to rise from 8.6% to 9.2% YoY, and from −0.8% to 1.0% MoM.
