At 01:50 (GMT+2) in Japan, January data on industrial production will be published. The indicator captures the change in the volume of output of industrial goods and utilities in the country. Its calculation consideres the manufacturing and mining industries, as well as the electric power industry. It is expected that in January the value will decrease from 0.3% to –2.6%, which, in turn, may put pressure on the position of the yen.
