Producer price index. Germany, 09:00 (GMT+2)

At 09:00 (GMT+2), February data on the German Producer Price Index will be published. It is one of the most important indicators of inflation in the economy since it measures the change in prices for goods sold by manufacturers at the wholesale level. It is expected that the value will be corrected from the current 17.8% to 16.4% YoY and from –1.0% to –1.6% MoM, which may contribute to the downward dynamics of the euro.
