At 14:30 (GMT+2), April data on the consumer price index will be released in the US. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects the change in retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on. It has a significant impact on the decisions of the country’s financial regulator on monetary policy. The index is expected to rise from 0.1% to 0.4% MoM and it will remain at 5.0% YoY, while the core value will remain at 0.4% MoM and be adjusted from 5.6% to 5.5% YoY.
