The report captures national residents aged 15 and over who have used at least one of the job search channels in the past three months and are available for employment within 15 days. Persons who have responded to a vacancy or moved into the category of self-employed but are waiting for the completion of the necessary documents, are also considered as unemployed. If the rate rises from the current 10.0% in April, this is likely to put pressure on the lira.
