At 20:00 (GMT+2), the US Federal Reserve System (US Fed) will announce its monetary policy decision. The regulator is expected to keep the interest rate at the current 5.25%. In an accompanying statement, the head of the department, Jerome Powell, can also announce concrete steps by the financial authorities to curb inflationary pressure in the country.
