At 14:30 (GMT+2), May retail sales data will be released in the US. The indicator records the volume of all goods sold by retailers, based on a sample of retail stores. It is an important indicator of consumer spending and has a significant impact on gross domestic product (GDP). It is expected that in May, the volume will decrease from 0.4% to –0.1% and the core value – from 0.4% to 0.1% MoM, which, in turn, may put pressure on the euro.
