
At 03:30 (GMT+2), China will release June data on the consumer price index. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services (food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on). It has a significant influence on the decisions of the national financial regulator on monetary policy. It is expected that the indicator will correct from 0.2% to 0.3% YoY and from –0.2% to –0.1% MoM.
