At 14:00 (GMT+2) in Germany, July data on the consumer price index will be published. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on, having a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. It is expected that the consumer price index will decrease from 6.4% to 6.2% YoY and remain at 0.3% MoM.
