It is the main indicator of the inflation rate in the country and determines the change in the level of retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, healthcare and others, having a significant impact on the decisions of the authorities on monetary policy. The consumer price index is expected to remain at 6.2% on an annualized basis, and 0.3% on a monthly basis.
