At 08:30 (GMT+2), August data on the consumer price index will be presented in Switzerland. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, and healthcare. The index has a significant impact on the monetary policy decisions of the Swiss National Bank. It is expected that the indicator will decrease from 1.6% to 1.5% YoY and increase from –0.1% to 0.2% MoM.
