At 10:00 (GMT+2), the August data on the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector of the EU countries will be presented. The indicator is calculated based on a survey of purchasing and supply managers of leading national enterprises in all industries while assessing their attitude to the current economic situation and prospects for its further development. It is expected that in August the index will drop from 44.8 points to 43.6 points. Implementation of the forecast may put pressure on the euro.
