At 09:30 (GMT+2), October data on the consumer price index will be presented in Switzerland. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, and healthcare. The index has a significant influence on the decisions of the Swiss National Bank on monetary policy. It is expected that the figure will increase from 1.7% to 1.8% YoY and from –0.1% to 0.1% MoM.
