At 02:30 (GMT+2), the Services PMI for October from the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry will be published. The indicator reflects the total cost of services purchased by companies in key service industries (excluding manufacturing) and is a leading indicator of the Tankan PMI. A correction of the value from 53.8 points to 51.1 points is expected, which, in turn, may put pressure on the yen.

It is expected that in October the services index will decrease from 48.7 points to 47.8 points, and the composite index — from 47.2 points to 46.5 points.
