At 03:30 (GMT+2), October data on the consumer price index will be published in China. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services (food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on). It has a significant influence on the decisions of the national financial regulator on monetary policy. The figure is expected to adjust from 0.0% to −0.2% YoY and from 0.2% to 0.3% MoM.
