The indicator reflects the state of business activity in the national manufacturing industry based on a survey of purchasing and supply managers of leading national enterprises in all industries. At the same time, their attitude to the current economic situation and prospects for further development is assessed. The indicator is expected to correct from the current 50.7 points to 49.3 points, putting pressure on the yuan.
