
December data on the Eurozone consumer price index will be published at 12:00 (GMT+2). It is the main indicator of inflation in the region and determines the change in the level of retail prices for a particular basket of goods and services: food, transportation, utilities, healthcare, etc., having a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. The CPI is expected to adjust from 2.4% to 3.0% YoY and from -0.6% to -0.5% MoM, while the base monthly value will remain at -0.6% and drop from 3.6% to 3.5% on an annual basis.
