At 11:00 (GMT+2), January data on the consumer price index in Germany will be published – a key indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on, and has a significant impact on the decisions of regulators in the field of monetary policy. It is expected that the figure will adjust from −0.3% to 0.1% MoM and from 3.9% to 4.3% YoY.
