Consumer price index. China, 03:30 (GMT+2)

At 03:30 (GMT+2), January data on the consumer price index will be published in China. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services (food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on). It has a significant influence on the decisions of the national financial regulator on monetary policy. The figure is expected to adjust from −0.3% to −0.5% YoY and from 0.1% to 0.4% MoM.
