At 09:00 (GMT+2), February data on the consumer price index in Germany will be published – a key indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on, and has a significant impact on the decisions of regulators in the field of monetary policy. The rate is expected to adjust from 0.2% to 0.4% MoM and from 2.9% to 2.5% YoY, while the harmonized rate is likely to rise from –0.2% to 0.6% MoM and drop from 3.1% to 2.7% YoY.
