At 14:00 (GMT+2), March data on the consumer price index in Germany will be published – a key indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on, and has a significant impact on the decisions of regulators in the field of monetary policy. It is expected to adjust from 0.4% to 0.5% MoM and from 2.5% to 2.3% YoY, while the harmonized rate is likely to rise from 0.6% to 0.7% MoM and drop from 2.7% to 2.5% YoY.
