At 11:00 (GMT+2), March data on the consumer price index of EU countries will be published. It is the main indicator of inflation and determines changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, etc. It has a significant impact on the decisions of regulators in monetary policy. The CPI is expected to settle at 0.6% MoM and fall from 2.6% to 2.5% YoY, while the core monthly reading is likely to remain at 0.7% and will decrease from 3.1% to 3.0% YoY.
