At 14:30 (GMT+2), March data on the consumer price index will be published in the United States. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on. It has a significant influence on the decisions of the country’s financial regulator on monetary policy. It is expected to fall from 0.4% to 0.3% MoM and to rise from 3.2% to 3.4% YoY, while the core index may change from 0.4 % to 0.3% MoM and from 3.8% to 3.7% YoY.
