At 11:00 (GMT+2), March data on the consumer price index of EU countries will be published. It is the main indicator of inflation and determines changes in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, etc. It has a significant impact on the decisions of regulators in monetary policy. It may change from 0.6% to 0.8% MoM and from 2.6% to 2.4% YoY, while the core reading may rise from 0.7% to 1.1% MoM and decrease from 3.1% to 2.9% YoY.
