
At 09:00 (GMT+2), Turkey will publish the April consumer price index, which is the main indicator of inflation in the country, reflecting changes in the cost of a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utility costs, healthcare, and so on. It has a significant influence on the monetary policy decisions of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. It may increase from 3.16% to 3.50% MoM and from 68.50% to 69.10% YoY.
