ZEW economic sentiment. Germany, 11:00 (GMT+2)

At 11:00 (GMT+2), the August business sentiment index in Germany from the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) is due. The indicator reflects the difference between the share of institutional investors and analysts who are optimistic and pessimistic. It may change from 41.8 points to 30.6 points, putting pressure on the euro.

At 11:00 (GMT+2), the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) will publish its August EU Business Sentiment Index. The indicator reflects the difference between the share of institutional investors and analysts who are optimistic and pessimistic and may fall from 43.7 points to 35.4 points, putting pressure on the euro.

At 14:30 (GMT+2), the US Producer Price Index for July is due. The indicator reflects the change in the price of goods at the wholesale level (raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods are taken into account). Higher prices for producers contribute to the growth of consumer inflation in the region. It may stay at 0.2% MoM and fall from 2.6% to 2.3% YoY, while the core indicator may change from 3.0% to 2.5% YoY and from 0.4% to 0.2% MoM.
