Services PMI. Japan, 02:30 (GMT+2)

At 02:30 (GMT+2), Japan will publish the June services PMI from the national Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The indicator reflects the total value of services purchased by companies in key service industries (excluding manufacturing) and is a leading indicator for the Tankan PMI. It may grow from –0.4% to 0.3%.

At 08:00 (GMT+2), the UK will publish data on retail sales for July. The indicator records the volume of all goods retailers sold MoM based on a sample of stores of different types and sizes. It is an important indicator of consumer spending, which has a significant impact on gross domestic product (GDP). It may change from –1.2% to 0.6% MoM and from –0.2% to 0.2% YoY.
