
Switzerland will release consumer price index data for September at 08:30 (GMT+2). It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and determines the change in the level of retail prices for a particular basket of goods and services: food, transportation, utilities, healthcare, etc. The index has a significant impact on the monetary policy decisions of the Swiss National Bank. It is expected that on an annualized basis it will be fixed at 1.1%, and on a monthly basis it will decrease from 0.0% to –0.1%.
