Industrial Product Price Index. Canada, 14:30 (GMT+2)

At 14:30 (GMT+2), September data on the Canadian industrial product price index (IPPI) will be published. It measures the change in the price of domestically produced goods sold by manufacturers. The index is expected to grow from ˗0.8% to ˗0.4% MoM but remain negative, and increase from 0.2% to 1.1% YoY. The implementation of the forecast will reduce the likelihood of monetary policy easing by the Bank of Canada and may lead to a strengthening of the position of the Canadian dollar.
