At 15:30 (GMT+2), the US will publish January data on the consumer price index. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country, which reflects the change in retail prices for a certain basket of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, health care, and so on. It has a significant impact on the decisions of the country’s financial regulator on monetary policy. The index is likely to fall from 0.4% to 0.3% MoM and consolidate at 2.9% YoY, and the core value will be adjusted from 0.2% to 0.3% MoM and from 3.2% to 3.3% YoY.
