The indicators reflect the state of business activity in the manufacturing and service industries and are calculated based on a survey of purchasing and supply managers of leading enterprises, while assessing their attitude towards the current economic situation and the prospects for its further development. The Manufacturing PMI is expected to adjust from the current 49.0 points to 48.9 points, and the Services PMI — from 53.7 points to 53.1 points, putting pressure on the yen.
