
At 08:00 (GMT+2), the UK will publish the April House Price Index from one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country, Halifax Bank plc. The indicator is calculated based on samples of mortgage loan data covering about 15.0K monthly purchases of residential property, allowing for analysis of the strength of the market and the economy as a whole. It may increase from –0.5% to 0.2% MoM, supporting the pound.
