The indicators reflect the state of business activity in the national manufacturing and service industries and are calculated based on a survey of purchasing and supply managers of leading national enterprises, while assessing their attitude towards the current economic situation and the prospects for its further development. If the Manufacturing PMI grows from 48.7 points and the Services PMI increases from 52.4 points, this will support the yen's position.
