At 08:00 (GMT+2), the UK will publish May data on the consumer price index. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and determines the change in retail prices for a certain basket of goods and services (food, transport, utilities, healthcare, etc.), and also has a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. The consumer price index may adjust from 3.5% to 3.3% YoY, and in core terms – from 3.8% to 3.5%.
