At 08:30 (GMT+2), Switzerland will release May data on retail sales, a key indicator of consumer spending that has a significant impact on the country’s gross domestic product (GDP). The indicator measures the volume of all goods retailers sold MoM, based on a sample of retail stores of different types and sizes. A correction may follow from –0.1% to 0.3%, supporting the franc.
