At 14:30 (GMT+2), the US will release final data on gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter. It is the main indicator that reflects the state of the national economy and takes into account domestic consumption, investment, government spending and exports. The US economy is expected to grow by 3.3%, which would be in line with experts' preliminary estimates and would be significantly better than the 0.5% contraction that occurred in the first quarter. If the forecast proves to be true, this may render support to the US dollar.
