Consumer Confidence Index. Japan, 07:00 (GMT+2)

At 07:00 (GMT+2), Japan will release its October consumer confidence index data. The indicator is calculated based on a survey of 5.0 thousand households in the country, who assess the prospects for the economy and their own well-being. This is a leading indicator for consumer spending. High rates indicate consumer optimism. The index is expected to grow from 35.3 points to 35.6 points. If the forecast proves correct, it can support the yen.
