
At 09:00 (GMT+2), the UK will publish the October house price index from one of the country’s largest mortgage lenders, Halifax Bank plc. The index is calculated based on a sample of mortgage data covering approximately 15.0K monthly residential property purchases, allowing for analysis of the strength of the market and the economy. It can change from –0.3% MoM and from 1.3% YoY, putting pressure on the pound.
