At 10:00 (GMT+2), Switzerland will publish December data on the unemployment rate, an indicator that records the percentage of unemployed people over 18 years of age in relation to the total working-age population. Only registered unemployed citizens are counted. If the seasonally adjusted figure rises from 3.0%, and the non-seasonally adjusted figure from 2.9%, this will put pressure on the Swiss national currency.
