At 09:45 (GMT+2), France will publish December data on the Consumer Price Index — a key indicator of inflation that determines changes in retail prices for a certain basket of goods and services (food, transportation, utilities, healthcare, etc.). On a monthly and annual basis, it will be adjusted from –0.2% to 0.1% and from 0.9% to 0.8%, while the harmonized indicator will be adjusted from –0.2% to 0.1% and from 0.8% to 0.7%, respectively, which could have a significant impact on the monetary policy decisions of financial authorities.
