At 11:00 (GMT+2), the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) will publish its January index of business sentiment in the EU, which measures the difference between the proportion of institutional investors and analysts who are optimistic and pessimistic. If it rises from 33.7 points, this will support the euro.
