Producer price index. Australia, 02:30 (GMT+2)

At 02:30 (GMT+2), Australia will release Q4 producer price index, which is one of the main indicators of inflation in the country and determines changes in wholesale prices and services provided by companies to each other, significantly influencing the regulator’s monetary policy decisions. It may rise from 1.0% to 1.1% QoQ and remain above the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) target range of 2.0–3.0% YoY, which will weaken the likelihood of a further reduction in borrowing costs soon.
