At 15:30 (GMT+2), the US will publish January data on the consumer price index, which is the main indicator of the country's inflation rate and determines the change in the level of retail prices for a certain "basket" of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, health care and others, and also has a significant impact on the decisions on monetary policy. The value is expected to be fixed at around 0.3% MoM, while on an annual basis it is projected to decline from 2.7% to 2.5% YoY. Simultaneously, core indicators are expected to adjust from 0.2% to 0.3% MoM and from 2.6% to 2.7% YoY, which is likely to exert a tangible influence on the rhetoric of monetary authorities.
