Consumer Price Index. USA, 14:30 (GMT+2)

At 14:30 (GMT+2), the US will publish March data on the consumer price index, which is the main indicator of the country's inflation rate and determines the change in the level of retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, health care and others, and also has a significant impact on the decisions on monetary policy. On a monthly basis, the indicator is expected to increase from 0.2% to 0.3% MoM, while on an annual basis it is projected to accelerate from 2.4% to 3.4% YoY. Core readings are forecast to adjust from 0.2% to 0.3% MoM and from 2.5% to 2.7% YoY, which is likely to influence the rhetoric of monetary authorities.
