The indicator reflects changes in prices for goods and services purchased for personal consumption, with the exception of food and energy. If the indicator declines from 0.4% MoM and 2.8% YoY, and the underlying value from 0.4% and 3.0%, respectively, this will certainly affect the rhetoric of the US Federal Reserve at the next monetary policy meeting.
