At 10:00 (GMT+2), the German Institute for Economic Research (IFO) will publish its May business climate index. It is based on a survey of 7.0K managers in the manufacturing, construction, wholesale and retail sectors and assesses overall investor sentiment in the reporting month. The indicator is likely to rise from 84.9 points to 85.6 points, which will support the position of the European currency.

At 10:00 (GMT+2), the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) will publish its May economic expectations index for Switzerland, which measures the difference between the share of institutional investors and analysts who are optimistic and pessimistic, with an optimistic and pessimistic outlook, and is an important indicator of the country’s business conditions and economic well-being.  If the indicator continues its downward trend from the current –11.1 points, this may put pressure on the franc's position.
