MT4 account servers to be renamed

Dear clients,

Please be aware that the MT4 account servers specified in the table below will be renamed on Saturday, 15.06.2024, to optimize trading processes.

LiteFinance Web platform and Mobile trading app

You don't have to do anything if you use LiteFinance's online platform at my.litefinance.org.

MT4 desktop version for Windows

In the desktop version of the MetaTrader4 trading platform for Windows, the server name is usually changed automatically, and no errors occur when reconnecting. Simply select the new server name instead of the old one.

If your account is not connected automatically, you must reinstall the trading platform by downloading its latest version. Then, you must log in to your trading account again using the new server name. The account login and password remain unchanged.

We recommend that our clients update their MetaTrader 4 PC version anyway. To do that, download the setup file and reinstall the trading platform in a new folder.

MT4 desktop version for Macintosh

You must reconnect your MT4 trading account using the new server name. The account login and password remain unchanged.

MT4 mobile app

If you use the mobile version of MetaTrader 4, you must connect again by typing the new server name in the search box. Please note that connecting to your trading account via the MT4 mobile app may be impossible while the servers are being renamed. In that case, please use the desktop version or LiteFinance's web platform.

Where do I find the current server name?

Please check out the METATRADER section on the side menu in your Client Area.

This section shows all your trading accounts with their current trading servers.

You will also need to update the server name data in third-party services that require account connection, such as the Myfxbook statistics service.
