
At 14:00 (GMT+2), June data on the consumer price index will be released in Germany. It is the main indicator of inflation in the country and reflects the change in retail prices for a certain “basket” of goods and services: food, transport, utilities, healthcare, and so on, having a significant impact on monetary policy decisions. The consumer price index is expected to rise from 6.1% to 6.3% YoY and from −0.1% to 0.2% MoM.
